Demand and Supply Analysis (Example: Housing issue in A COUNTRY)

Using the demand and supply analysis, we will now attempt to evaluate the future of the property market for the various flatted residences. Houses come in various denominations such as studio apartments, 3-bedroom up to 5-bedroom flats and executive condominiums.

The future the more extravagant 5-bedroom flats and executive condominiums will most likely foresee the greatest growth in demand leaving the relatively lower range of houses to decrease in its demands.

The increasing demand in these flats can be linked to the shift the lifestyle of A COUNTRY in general. The change in the population lifestyle, population’s tastes, income pattern and consumer confidence are strong influences pushing the demand of the more luxurious houses.

The executive condominiums, while targeted at the young professionals whom are more status conscious and perceives these houses as more glamorous that the standard flatted houses also appeal to many of those who wish to own a property with the facilities of many private apartments without the exorbitant price tag.

A COUNTRY’s population is more educated in comparison to their forefathers, earning them capabilities of higher paying jobs. On top of that, there is also a demographic shift for A COUNTRY’s families with dual incomes, where both the parents are working. All these in turn will increase the buying power of the populations in general.

Consumer confidence is also another important factor for the every housing market, as the forecasts of the A COUNTRY economy is expected to have at least a 6% increase in the coming year, the population will be more confident that their jobs are more secure, directly affecting their financial security. All these factors discussed above will cause an incremental shift in demand on the executive condominiums in A COUNTRY.
